Welcome to my Book Review Page!

This is a book that I read that has autism inside of the book. It is called Al Capone does my shirts by Gennifer Choldenko. Its all about this boy named Moose who moves to Alcatraz Island. Here his parents are trying to find a special school for their autistic daughter named Natalie. This book took place in the 1930s, so doctors didn't know about autism until the late 1940s. But since the special school that Mooses' parents want their Natalie to go doesn't accept her, they may get a special surprise from an unlikely convict.
I liked this book because it gives very detailed actions from an autistic. Plus its very entertaining at a second person point of view. The book is a good read and I recommend it to anyone that wants to learn more about autism and life in the 1930s. Plus I recommend it to anyone a age 9 and up.
